Another week on Deadlaugh, and even more updates are rolling out – both on the game’s end, and our end.
Fixed modified XP rate
We said last week that XP was being earned at a 5x rate. We were wrong – sorry guys! We have fixed the plugin, and now the standard rate of XP earned is 3x, since 5x seemed extreme upon testing. This means that players receive increased XP rates at 300% (3X the normal rate). We also have a push for players who are behind, giving lone woofs and those late to the wipe a slight boost to catch up! For every 20 levels behind the average level of the server you are, you receive an additional 100% (1x) increased rate until you are caught up. This allows new or returning players to get back into the fight and helps balance the leveling system in favor of everyone.

Small bonuses of XP from gathering at night time, and when loot is collected from rad towns (increased even more at night)
Arena Grouping System
Players at events are put into groups of 10. Players outside of your group cannot see nor fight you. This dramatically reduces the amount of frame rate issues experienced at events. Known issues: you can see invisible players projectiles (from players not in your group)
ClanBattles Sign Ups!
ClanBattles sign up page is now available!!
For those who haven’t been read the devblogs and have no clue what is the ClanBattles event. The ClanBattles event will create a new focal point for pvping. A flag will spawn at a monument, randomly generated, for the clans to try to capture. The flag’s capture cool-down time is an hour (to allow players to recoup what they have lost) and it can only be captured three times before it can’t be captured again and a newly generated flag spawns. Once a clan has captured that monument’s flag they will receive point and if they capture the same flag multiple times they receive additional points. The winners of this event will be able to choose their clan’s own titles, one helicopter call, and five supply drops to redeem when they wish. Register Your Clan Now!
